  A coupling is used to join input and output shafts in any power transmission system. These are typically utilized when the shafts are in a straight line and are to be connected end to end for power transmission. A coupling ensures that there is no interruption during tasks. However, some couplings have torque limitations, and such couplings may fall flat or disconnect the shafts when a similar limit exceeds a specific point. Flange coupling is a kind of coupling between rotating shafts that consists of flanges.
